A Little About Us
Mount Olive Evangelical Free Church started as a small country church in the early 1950s. It was situated in the farmland about 8 km West of Three Hills. In the early 1990s a passion to more effectively reach into the community prompted a move to our current location on the south end of 6th Avenue. Currently about 350-400 people make Mount Olive their church home where we devote oursleves to the teaching of the Word, fellowship, worship and prayer. (Acts 2)

We see ourselves as a part of the larger body of Christ fully participating in the Three Hills Ministerial. We are also officially affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church Of Canada Prairie District.

Our DNA includes not only a strong commitment to the great commandment, but also to the great commission.Our professional staff is made up of a senior pastor, an associate, a youth pastor, a children's ministry coordinator and an administrative assistant. As a church we are intentional about growing to maturity in Christ as is reflected in our mission and vision statements.

As Mount Olive is to partner with God in building His community in the Three Hills area and around the globe.
By faith we see the Mt. Olive Community as:
A welcoming community where every person is accepted in Christ for who they are and where they are in their spiritual journey. (Romans 15:8)
A maturing, faith-community, properly fed, nurtured, exercised, and rested, growing in interdependence, able to move forward at the sound of God’s voice. (1 Peter 2:2; Ephesians 4:11-16)
An inclusive community where radiantly healthy Christ-followers are each ministering his grace with integrity in his or her God-given spheres of influence-watching the Lord add those who are being saved. (1 Peter 4:10; 3:15; Acts 2:42-47)
A channel of God’s blessing flowing out to our Three Hills Community as we participate in local activities, help make good things happen, meet felt needs, give honor where it is due, and pray for everyone with thanksgiving-especially those in authority. (Genesis 1;26-28; Psalms 67; Galatians 6:10)
Deliberately partnering with believers to create Christ-community in other areas, near or far-reproducing ourselves beyond our walls. (Acts 1:8; Philippians 1:5)
