GLOBAL WORKER

GLOBAL WORKER

Today our global worker is Paul Hickock who is serving with Samaritans Purse in Jordan. Paul has been doing maintenance and logistics at a hospital there for the past 11 years.Paul writes: "The hospital I work at in Jordan is operating fairly smoothly as we all make adjustments due to the pandemic. The biggest issue at this point is staff movement: we've got people that should have gone for their home breaks months ago that are still here, while other staff is trying to return. Jordan has put some regulations in place that make it tough to return, depending on your country of origin. Some of the patients have also had to stay at the hospital a bit longer than is necessary - but the nursing staff uses it to further relationships with them.  Pray that this time will be used profitably." Paul Hickok

Thank you so much for your generous response to this year's Global Focus project!
Our goal is to raise $10,000 towards the ministry expenses of
Novo Transformational Community and Talita Cumi Children's Home in Santa Cruz, Bolivia
(ministries of our Global workers Warren and Jackie McCaig.)
We're thankful that more than $9000 has been raised thus far!
If you didn't get a chance to contribute and would like to,
the project will remain open until November 15th.

Update:

Unfortunately we will not be hosting our Annual Christmas Ladies Brunch this year.

We do however still want to bless our missionary families financially with a “Christmas Love Gift.” We will be moving our usual silent auction online this year and it will be open to the entire church to participate!

We will be accepting donations of new items @ the church up until Nov. 22nd. (Baking will also be accepted and will be put in the freezer upon arrival.) Stay tuned for more details in regards to when and how the online auction will roll out.
