Youth Summer Drop In

Thank You

Our Summer Drop-In has officially come to a close! I am so thankful for each of the volunteers who have worked tirelessly this summer to bring the program to fruition. Thank you as well to each of you who have sacrificed time and resources to provide snack, help with set up, or sent your kids to our program! We appreciate you.

GLOBAL WORKERS

We are continuing this week to uphold Mark & Cheryl Sorell, our global workers with Action Canada:

Please pray... for our ongoing outreach to a group of homeless people on the riverbank here in Prince Albert. During Covid the Lord has enabled us to plant a small church among 1st nation's people who are at risk of so much. They call themselves (and us!) the 'Riverbank warriors'. People like Norman yesterday who was overcome with a deep sadness and loss. After I prayed for him he said that he now has peace. God is good. Others wake up with bruises they say from an entity (demon). Pray for protection, deliverance and wisdom.

Pray too for next week as we begin recruiting personally for this year's teams. Thanks for your support and prayer. It means a lot. Mark

Prayer Night for Canada

Weekly Thursdays at 7:00pm,

A special 1 hour prayer meeting is planned for the next 5 Thursdays; 7:00 PM, in the chapel. The focus will be upon Canada and our upcoming General Election. Come and also uphold our province, community, church and its learship; the USA, and the world in prayer.

We are launching our Say Yes! Campaign

In the church lobby you will see bright signs with many papers that have all of the jobs needed to be filled to run our kids ministry. Each paper has the title, age group, and frequency of service. On the backside you can fill out your information and then leave it in the bucket!

Summer Kids Church!

For Ages 2-5 we are running a

Summer Kids Church
At both 8:30 & 10:00am Services!

It is video based content with a time of activities upstairs.

Taking the Next Step - UPDATE

Building Fund Summer Update

Since our last update we have listed our lots with Royal Lepage through Rod Perks here in Three Hills. If you or someone you know is interested please contact him regarding these lots.

Up untill now we have raised $212 000 of the $475,000 initial goal. The land cost was $275,000 with an additional $200,000 that was originally allocated to redoing the exterior of the building. In doing further consultations with building experts, we have made the decision to replace the rest of our windows and repair some facial/soffit issues in the immediate future and the stucco can last a few more years. Which then allows us to redo the stucco at the same time we do a building expansion, when that occurs.

This leaves a question, are we still raising the full $475,000 if we aren't spending it all immediately on exterior?

The answer is Yes.

We know there will be many costs associated with the pre-planning phase of expansion, so our goal is still to raise the full amount using what isn't used immediately for the exterior to do our pre-planning work.

Currently an Expansion Planning Committee is being formed to lead us into the pre-planning phase of our expansion. More info to come.

We've moved to Southern California because Carmen has taken a position teaching Old Testament at Biola University. Emma plans to stay in Three Hills to continue her studies at PCA.
