For the next two weeks our Global Worker Highlight is focusing on James & Kristina Braim, serving in Indonesia with Mission Aviation Fellowship.  

"It is hard to believe, but we have already been in Indonesia for about 5 months and are almost halfway through language school! During this time, we have been living in a city in Central Java called Salatiga. We anticipate being done language school early in the Fall and then moving to Tarakan. This is an island city in another part of Indonesia where MAF works. Neither of us has learned another language before and we find language school to be quite stretching. However, it is encouraging to see how much we can already communicate after only 4 months of studying! During the past couple months, we have been dealing with some online learning for both us and our children. Although online learning is not our first choice, we are grateful that we have still been able to continue with our studying. We are also thankful God has given us good health for most of our time here, even though there has been a lot of sickness going around. We are now in our fourth month of language school in Indonesia. Please pray that God will help us learn the language well so we can communicate clearly and build meaningful relationships with the people here. Pray for continued health for our family."

You have prayed, set a goal, and remembered God's Goodness now it's time to celebrate God's Blessings . Our goal for this year is $50,000 to help reduce our current debt. This special offering will take place next Sunday. Come prepared to celebrate Palm Sunday together. 

This year the Community Good Friday Service will once again be held at the Three Hills School Auditorium.

Please Note:  Seniors Outreach is planning to provide free Bus Service to the Three Hills community for the Good Friday Service on April 15th. Seniors, or those with mobility issues (using a walker, etc), may wish to avail themselves of this bus ride to and from the Three Hills School Gymnasium.

Lynn Thiessen an attendee of our Church, is part of the Christian Vet Fellowship group at the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM). They are planning a short mission trip up to Maskwacis, a native reserve located near Edmonton.

She writes:

"On behalf of the Christian Veterinary Mission organization at UCVM, we would like to ask for your support in an upcoming charity event at the Maskwacis community on April 30 to May 1, 2022.

Maskwacis is an Alberta Indigenous community composed of 20,000 residents of two Cree First Nations communities. We are hosting a temporary veterinary clinic for Maskwacis on April 30 and May 1 to provide basic veterinary care to dogs, cats, and horses in the community. Maskwacis residents have limited access to veterinary care and large populations of roaming animals that could benefit from this clinic. This event is held in partnership with the Christian Veterinary Missions organization, the North American Indigenous Missions organization, the Red Deer Clinic, the Maskwacis Fellowship Church, and the Louis Bull Church, with the support of the local veterinary clinics and the chiefs of the community.

We are in need of medical supplies for this temporary clinic and would like to ask for your support. We are collecting donations to perform basic preventive care, including vaccines, dewormers, basic medical supplies (gloves, needles, syringes), animal handling equipment (muzzles, halters, lead ropes), food and treats, medications for basic ear/eye/skin infections, and medications / equipment for horse floats. All funds and supplies will be used directly for this clinic.
