Executive Pastor Search ProcessPlease pray for the Elders as they seek God's wisdom and direction after having interviewed a candidate for the Executive Pastor position this past week. Pray that God would give clear direction both for us as a church and the candidate.

Darryl & Katie Elliot
Darryl & Katie Elliot are working with SIM in Liberia, where Darryl is now the Deputy Country Director and Katie is involved in Trauma Healing groups and the King’s Kids ministry. They write: "Cia's arm/wrist has continued to heal well, and she is getting more and more comfortable using it as before. We are so thankful for all the prayers and words of encouragement we have received! The kids have started another school year, they are thankful to be reunited with their friends, many of whom were away for the summer. Please pray for the students and teachers to have a good start to the year! Thank you again for your prayer and financial support. We truly appreciate it.” In next week’s bulletin we’ll highlight a story regarding the “King’s Kids” ministry that Katie has recently become involved with. |

Starting October 3rd!
Ladies' Bible Study is returning to Tuesday nights! We will begin on October 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mt. Olive Chapel, with a 7-week study, JONAH: Navigating a Life Interrupted, by Priscilla Shirer. Books will cost $25. Registration can be done on the Mt. Olive web-site, or e-mail Deb Platt directly. |
