Special News from Warren & Jackie McCaig!
(They are “our” global workers working with the EFCCM in Bolivia)

We have just confirmed our travel to Canada this summer! This is great news but has us planning our home assignment on a lot shorter notice than usual. We will arrive in Canada next week (June 17) and will be completing the mandatory two-week quarantine. After it is finished, we have two months available to connect with you (as safety and regulations allow). We are so excited to be able to express our gratitude to all of you that support our work in Bolivia. It is also the first opportunity for Jackie and the kids to be in Canada in two years. We apologize for the last-minute nature of this message, but some international flights have just been reinstated again in Bolivia.  It would be extremely helpful if anyone has a vehicle that we could rent or borrow, large enough for our family of five and some luggage to travel around western Canada from July 1 until Aug 30. We would also be happy to rent a small motor-home if someone has one parked as it would help us save on lodging and food costs while we travel around. We will be based out of central Alberta and due to the pandemic will be emphasizing small group connections. As a church we support 5 couples that work in creative access countries in North Africa, Asia and the Middle East. While we can’t give you specifics so as to not compromise their safety, we want to pray for God’s care and protection over them and fruitfulness in their ministry. 

Hey Church Family,

As you likely know, the government has opened up to Phase 2 this week as we continue to “open up” as a province. This has not meant a loosening of some specific restrictions, which has made our opening up as a church and the plan we would put out a little more challenging to navigate.   We are continuing to work on a re-opening plan, as staff and leadership, and later next week we will send out more communication as to what the specifics may look like. As with most things, church will look quite different then it did pre-COVID, at least for the first while here. We trust you will be understanding and patient with us as we work out this plan and walk into it together.  

I believe God has done much good through this time in expanding our reach and our impact and drawing hearts to Himself
through this season in our lives and church.

We praise the Lord for that and look forward to
what He is going to continue to do.

Without camp or VBS running this summer, we have been working on a fun new way to play and share the gospel!   Camp4U is a FREE youtube video series designed for campers ages 6-12 but not limited to that. It will feature classic and new camp faces bringing camp home to campers and families. It is packed with fun, activities, stories and challenges. An exciting way to experience the many things you love about SABC in a brand new way - campfire, chapel, crafts and more. It's a great way for families to get a taste of camp!   Camp4U is for those who have AND who have not been to camp before - we invite you to share the gospel and camp with families in new amazing ways with Camp4U.   Campers are invited to join us every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for new episodes and share in the fun by participating in challenges and appearing in the weekly highlight videos! As well as have the opportunity to be part of the Camp4U Crew and get even more out of this fun new camp experience!
