Ron and Jacqui Shaw

Ron and Jacqui Shaw have been serving with Africa Inland Mission since 1992, first in mission aviation in Central and East Africa, and then at Prairie Aviation Training Centre here in Three Hills. Ron now manages AIM Canada’s website and online giving platform, and continues to teach ground schools as an adjunct faculty at PATC. Currently, the Shaws are on a two month assignment in Chad where Jacqui is managing the AIM Retreat Centre, and Ron is installing a solar system for AIM’s Grade 1 - 8 MK day school, Wellspring Academy. They’ll be sending us a video update from Chad for next week’s service.

“We’re thankful to still be able to serve and support so many missionaries working here in Chad with many different organizations: AIM, TEAM, SIL, Pioneers, Frontiers, etc. Chad’s a tough gig with the hot climate and predominately Muslim/Arab culture, and we’re humbled by the perseverance and commitment of the missionaries who’ve committed their lives to live and minister in this place. And - we’re also thankful that all the needed lithium batteries for the school’s solar system showed up and made it through customs in time for installing at the school! I’m hoping to flip the switch on Monday to energize the school - they haven’t had electricity from the city since August 5th. Would appreciate your prayers for energy and stamina to pull together all the last minute details, as well as the insights to handle the troubleshooting opportunities that will most likely occur after the switch is flipped!”
