As mentioned last week, Kevin and Laurel Penner are coming back to Three Hills for a year long furlough later this month. We would love to bless them with a "Pantry Basket". There will be a basket in the foyer for the next couple of weeks for you to drop things off. Below are a few general categories of things to donate.

"As we are just six weeks out from leaving, our Mexico team wanted to give you a quick update. First, we are so thankful for and blown away by your support. Our Taco Lunch Fundraiser was a great success with delicious food and many people, and your generosity above has been a gift. We are still fundraising and if you are wanting to support the team financially there are many ways you can do that. Secondly, as we prepare can you pray for us for unity as a team, for flexibility as we are in Mexico, and for growing excitement to serve the ministry and space in Hermosillo. And for Wade and Adele Hammond as they serve and prepare to receive us. Finally, can I encourage you each ,as our church, to find one of the members on our team on a Sunday and chat with them for 5 minutes about the trip. Allow them to share their heart and passion with you, gift them with your encouragement, and let us rally as a church sending this team out to minister in the Gospel through our labour."

Hey all! Here it is again! MTO Reach's second annual TRIVIA NIGHT! Come on out for a time of competition, test your knowledge and support a great cause! This evening is a great opportunity to see what MTO Reach is all about and participate in the mission that we have to make clinical counselling accessible to all of Kneehill County and surrounding area! Bring your friends and come on out for a great night!

The Deacon Care Team is a group dedicated to serving and supporting the spiritual needs of the church community. Their mission is to embody Christ’s love by offering compassionate care, prayer, and encouragement to those in need. If you are needing any support please feel free to reach out!

Story

The other day I was meeting with *Amy, a student who is interested but has limited knowledge of Jesus or the Bible. We were talking about life’s ups and downs as we often do when the topic of prayer came up. As I listened the Lord gave me the opportunity to ask *Amy if she would be interested in learning more about Jesus which was met with an enthusiastic YES. Now *Amy and I are meeting and reading the Bible together, asking our questions and looking for answers in the Bible, as the Holy Spirit leads us. 

Prayer

• Pray for *Amy and others like her who are asking big questions and hungry to learn about who Jesus is and how he sees them - that they would receive Jesus! 
• Pray for our students that are stuck in hurtful patterns and cycles who feel they are too far gone for God to love them or reach them - pray that he would be revealed to them. 
• Pray for the parents of our community that they would see their role of discipleship of their teens clearly.  

Pray for our staff and volunteers as they pour out each week that they would be filled with excitement for what God is doing in the lives of the students we see.
