I was born in Campbell River, BC, and moved to Surrey, BC, when I was eight. I was raised to know Jesus and made the decision to follow Him as a child. In 2013, while attending Capernwray Bible College in England, I sensed God’s call into ministry (that story is too long to share here, come chat with me if you want to hear it!).
After studying at Pacific Life Bible College, Columbia Bible College, and Northwest Baptist Seminary, I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies.
Music has always been a big part of my family, so I grew up surrounded by it. I started piano lessons early on, but my passion for music really took off when I began playing drums and joined our youth worship team at 14. Over time, I felt drawn to lead worship, so I taught myself to play acoustic guitar to step into that role. I’ve loved using my gifts to serve the church and am passionate about helping others grow in theirs.
My wife Ellen and I moved to Three Hills in 2020 as we began raising our family, and I joined the staff team at Mount Olive in 2021.
Some of my favourite things include playing music, disc golf, eating donuts, morning coffee, playing with my kids, and spending time with Ellen.
