Hello all.
I was born into a family with a deep heritage of Jesus loving and Bible believing people. My Dad was a pastor and my Mom the typical pastor's wife (except she did not play piano!). I decided to follow Jesus at a very young age but it was not until my early teens that it became real to me. After high school I attended Peace River Bible Institute and finished with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies with a Minor in Chirstian Education. After that I decided I must need more schooling so I attended a local college and finished with an Early Learning and Childcare Diploma.
In 2012 I saw a dream of mine come true when I opened a Preschool in Olds Alberta. The Preschool was small so I was the teacher, business manager, administrator, financial planner, education assistant, janitor, and so on!! Over the next 13 years Joyfully His Preschool saw more than 300 children walk through its doors.
After the Preschool closed, I was a little lost with the question of what next. I am so thankful that God led me to Mount Olive! I am delighted to be the Children's Director for as long as God has me here.
In the first month here (September 2026) I bought a house in Trochu, moved my 2 young adult kids with me, sent my daughter away for 5 months with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and got a newish car. It has been quite the way to start!!
I am looking forward to settling in and meeting everyone.
