Mike lived in Niger for 19 years with his family doing church planting work with SIM. In 2021, he and his wife, LaRae, moved to Three Hills to begin working at Prairie College, where Mike serves as Director of the Intercultural Studies program. Their two grown children live outside of Canada, so Mike and LaRae keep their passports well-used as they travel to visit them whenever possible. You are most likely to run into Mike around Three Hills either walking his two persistent dogs or cycling through the Alberta countryside, often in weather that would suggest staying indoors.
