MTO Reach Administrator 

 

Position Description 

 The MTO Reach Administrator will fulfill the vision of Mount Olive EFC by supporting the ministry of the MTO Reach Counsellors and team. 

 Personal Qualifications: 

  • A person of moral character, who is respected in the community. 
  • Able to work on a team in fulfilling the vision of Mount Olive EFC.  
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Mount Olive EFC’s statement of faith, Vision, and Values. 
  • Able to work in a professional environment and maintain high confidentiality. 
  • Knowledge of the process of clinical counselling, mental health terminology, and an understanding of trauma. 
  • Self-starter, motivated worker. 

Professional qualifications: 

  • Competent with computer related tasks, including: Emailing, Word, Excel. 
  • Competent in communicating (through writing or verbally) in a professional manner. 
  • Basic understanding of social media and website management is an asset. 
  • Basic understanding of graphic design, for the purpose of creating promotional material is an asset. 

Goal of position: 

Provide administrative support for MTO Reach counselors, team, and the MTO Reach vision. 

 Duties will include: 

  • Attending and taking minutes for all team meetings, sharing them, and following up on items discussed 
  • Overseeing client related administration, including (but not limited to): client intakes, appointment scheduling, and financial assistance planning. 
  • Overseeing the MTO Reach website. 
  • Overseeing the MTO Reach social media. 
  • Overseeing ongoing promotion of MTO Reach. 
  • Fulfilling administrative tasks related to fundraising. 
  • Fulfilling administrative tasks related to workshops held by MTO Reach. 
  • Networking with organizations for support and information (this includes the pursuit of grants). 

Accountability: 

 The Administrator shall be accountable to the Executive Pastor and ultimately to the congregation through the Lead Pastor/Board. This accountability is to be maintained through written reports and regular consultations with the Executive Pastor.
