Hey Mount Olive Family,
We are living in pretty crazy times. The health authorities in Alberta have asked large gatherings of over 250 to refrain from meeting due to COVID-19. The request ban does not include places of worship. So in light of this, we are, as of now, planning to have services as normal this Sunday, although they may look a little different.

Here are a few things to consider and be ready for this Sunday’s church service:

- Please wash you hands… often.
- No handshakes, rather greet each other with a smile :)
- If your feeling any symptoms, or have traveled outside the country, stay home. If you are sick, contact the health link, 811.
- Alberta health authorities have stated that any Albertan who is ill with influenza
-like symptoms, such as fever or cough, stay at home for 14 days after their illness started, even if they have not been tested for COVID-19.
- If you are part of a vulnerable sector, consider taking the service in online
- The service will be available for watching and/or listening by 11:30am at mountoliveefc.com
- We will not pass the offering plate, but have them available in the back of the sanctuary, of course, you can always give online - Coffee will be served…literally
- All ministries and services will continue as normal, unless we are advised otherwise, at which point we will let you know.
- Stay tuned – this is a fluid situation and we will keep you posted to changes.
- Please continue to get current information from ahs.ca/covid
- We’ll connect Sunday…in person or online, see ya then!

Let’s be responsible, loving and protecting our neighbors and not give into fear.
